Your first visit will include a thorough examination of the teeth and gums, including the TMJ, and an orofacial cancer screening.
Sometimes a consultation appointment will be necessary to properly diagnose and establish a course of treatment. At this time, the treating doctor will explain the treatment options and, together with you, determine the appropriate treatment plan for your individual needs. A convenient time for you to begin treatment will then be scheduled.
